At Warder, our teachers may assign homework periodically or regularly, depending on their classroom. Regardless, our team believes that the ultimate goal of homework is to provide meaningful practice of skills that students are learning in class. Please support your student by showing an interest in his/her work by reviewing materials that are brought home. We do not believe in homework for homework’s sake—purposeful and meaningful homework is our goal. However, please encourage your student to read on a regular basis. For families who are planning to be gone, homework will be provided after the days missed. Students will have two days to make up homework for any excused absences.
